Autumn period from mid October to early December is undoubtedly the best time for trekking with hardly any rain or snow, stable weather, and clear skies -all these makes for fabulous mountain views. Spring period from March to May is also a good time but less popular as there is the possibility of hazy skies, dusty trails, and even rain & hailstorm at lower altitudes in April. During the Summer monsoons (June - early September), there are torrential rains sometimes for days together and in Winter (late December - February), it tends to be too cold for most people at higher altitudes.
