Ultimate Everest Trek

This is the most comprehensive and challenging Everest trek - the Ultimate Everest Trek ( UET ) - a 26-day trek encompassing the highest points in the Everest region - Kala Pattar (5545-m), Everest Base Camp (5365-m), Chhukung Ri (5560-m), Cho La pass (5420-m), Gokyo Ri (5350-m), and the Renjo La (5340m).

Kala Pattar, with its sensational views of Everest’s entire South Face and West Ridge, is where most of the famous photographs of Everest were taken. The Everest Base Camp, located just below the awesome Khumbu Icefall, is the main camp for mountaineers aspiring to climb to the vertical end of the world. Gokyo Ri is where one can see more of Everest plus the other three Eight-Thousanders - Cho Oyu (8153-m), Lhotse (8501-m) and Makalu (8463-m).

The hike up the wild Chhukung (Imja Khola) Valley presents one with some fabulous views including the stupendous, 3600-m-high wall of Lhotse (8501-m), neighbor to Everest, and the north face of Ama Dablam, with its fluted ice walls. The high ridge point of Chhukung Ri (5560-m) will provide an incredible amphitheater view of the Chhukung area as well as the west face of Makalu (8463-m).

These mountains are magical--and so are our encounters with the Sherpa people, the famous mountain dwellers of this Himalayan wonderland. As in the classic Everest Base Camp trek, the warmth and hospitality extended by the local inhabitants of this region, the Sherpas, will add a further dimension to our experience of Nepal.

This is our most physically demanding Nepal trek - it's the ULTIMATE trek for the hard-core adventure trekker & Everest fan.
