Nepal Culture, Mountainscape & Safari
This is a good introduction to natural diversity of Nepal - contrasting beautiful scenery of snowcapped Himalaya peaks & tropical lowlands.
From Kathmandu, we visit Chitwan National Park where we spend some time going on safari trying our luck spotting its diverse protected wildlife such as the endangered
Asian one-horned rhino from a safe vantage point riding atop elephants. This is a great time to visit Chitwan in the lowlands as the dry winter month ensures good weather & a cool climate.
We shall also indulge in an interesting water rafting trip down the Trisuli River and spend a bit of time at Pokhara where hopefully fine weather will bless us with the splendid views of the Annapurna range. For more great mountain views, we head to Nagarkot which is well-known for its beautiful sunsets & sunrises.
