10 Days Mongolia Eco Tour
Khagiin Khar Horse-packing

This journey offers a close encounter with culture, nature and the nomadic lifestyle of Mongolia in the Tuv and Khentii provinces.

The highlight of the tour is a horse-packing journey with our own gers and yak carriages to the fascinating area of Khagiin River which is rich in wildlife and blessed with unspoilt nature.

The Khagiin Khar Lake is in the Khan Khentii Strictly Protected Area. At 2.5km long, 1.1km wide 2.7 km 2 and depth of 25m lake is the biggest strictly protected lake of Mongolia. It is flowing with fish and is a center point of wildlife and migrating birds in this area.

When To Go:	May to September

Day 1

Singapore - Beijing - Ulaan Baatar. Visit to Sukhbaatar Square. Overnight in hotel.

Day 2 - 9

Day 2: Ulaanbaatar / Boot
Drive to Boot. Full day training in horseback riding. Overnight at tourist eco ger.

Day 3: Boot / Zuugiin Rashaan
We will load the packhorses, yak carriage with the equipment and our own Ger. Then set on the ride. Heading towards Khagiin Khar Lake. Overnight at Zuugiin Rashaan, surrounded by mountains, stay in our own ger.

Day 4: Zuugiin Rashaan / Khonog Tolgoi
We will make our way up to Khonog Tolgoi. Overnight at our own ger.

Day 5: Khonog Tolgoi / Khagiin Khar Lake
Leave yak carriage, ger and make our way into fascinating area of Khagiin River and set up a base camp by the lake. Overnight in tent

Day 6: Khagiin Khar Lake
We will remain here for a day. The area is rich in wildlife. The lake itself and rivers are rich in fish such as Grayling, Lenok Trout and Taimen. Overnight in tent.

Day 7 - Day 8: Khagiin Khar Lake / Botgont eco ger
We will load again our packhorse and ride back for Botgont eco ger. Equally nice nature of Siberian taiga forest. We will meet our yak carriage, ger near joint of Khag and Tuul rivers. Overnight in tent and another night for ger.

Day 9: Botgont eco ger / Ulaanbaatar
Pick up by vehicle and drive to Ulaanbaatar. Visiting Bogd Khaan Winter Palace Musuem, Folklore show, Zaisan hill. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 / 11

After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight home via Beijing.
