Our View On Total Conditioning

Good fitness or the lack of it can add to a great outing or make for a miserable experience. An active & challenging vacation such as trekking can be physically exacting and the beauty of any such outings can only be fully enjoyed if we are in steady rhythm and able to appreciate our surroundings without being physically overtaxed. As a bonus, we make it a point to prepare our participants thoughtfully and thoroughly via our special conditioning sessions which are immensely appreciated by the many who have benefited from them.

Our view on total conditioning is encapsulated in our Group Conditioning Sessions (GCS™) which are conducted weekly ranging for a period of 1-3 months before departure, depending on type and difficulty of trek. We are very serious about conditioning because one has to be fit physically and mentally in order to be able to ENJOY any strenuous outdoor programs. We hate to see you suffer! Our GCS™ are also designed to encourage team-bonding and rapport-building amongst team members before their trip. We want everyone to enjoy the experience and this is our commitment to all that you will be fit - PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY and SOCIALLY - enough to enjoy your adventure.
